Chrissy Tracey is a first generation Jamaican-American chef, forager, and author, born and raised in Connecticut. A lifelong vegetarian, she transitioned to a vegan-focused diet in 2018. She's passionate about sustainability and believes that bringing plant-based foods to the masses will help decrease our environmental footprint at large.
In 2020, she joined the video team at Bon Appétit, becoming the first vegan chef to host videos for the iconic food brand. She also hosts pop-ups at breweries and restaurants through her company Eatwithchrissy and curates unique plant based experiences throughout Connecticut and New York. Tracey is working on her first cookbook “Forage & Feast” with Penguin Randomhouse, which will debut April 2024.
